Something about Wisdom

To be wise is to understand the meaning(s) of life, and to exercise good judgment—particularly in situations that are important and difficult. In this course you will learn and practice a systematic approach to growing wiser. Based on empirical research and the long wisdom tradition, this course mixes instruction and discussion as we learn from each other. The Wisdom-Centered Life course is fun, challenging, and a great opportunity to keep growing to wholeness as we age.

For thousands of years, the most respected humans have discusses, and lived, the path of wisdom. Good decision-making, serenity, self-knowledge, thoughtfulness, benevolence, strong character, keeping things in perspective, coping well in life's trials, happiness, and finding meaning in life are qualities identified with wisdom.
